GTC Completes First Commercial Test of IPTV

During Feb 9 to March 20, 2005, Guangdong Telecom Corporation promoted its IPTV service to GTC's clients who paid RMB200 for the monthly service package. The participants of the test were mainly GTC's employees. After this, GTC launched another commercial test targeted at the broadband clients in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Dongguan with 1,000 households joining in this test.
